About the Role Crossland Prefab is a division of Crossland Construction that creates precast concrete products in a manufacturing setting and delivers them to a job site to be put in place by a crane. We have a variety of positions with various skills needed from carpentry to concrete mixing truck operator and precast production labor. This a manufacturing indoor environment with a team and family atmosphere. We seek employees to take pride in what they do. Our leaders care for you and want you here to help us grow. Drug screen, physical and criminal background check is required of successful candidates.
Essential Responsibilities: Performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects, usually working in a utility capacity and by transferring from one task to another. Activities include but are not limited to:
Measuring surfaces
Bolts, nails and aligns and blocks up for forms.
Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, and movement.
Mixes concrete, using float, trowel and screed.
Sprays materials such as water, sand, steam, or paint through hose to clean, coat or seal crevices.
Grinds, sands, or polishes surfaces, such as concrete.
Performs a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools.
Work is usually performed with other workers.
Work at a fast pace.
