This position will serve as a Cyber Retail Fraud Intelligence Analyst conducting research into the latest cyber and cyber-enabled threats with our brand and retail members. This role is responsible for providing intelligence analysis in order to identify threats and quantify vulnerabilities of current threats to develop timely and actionable alerts, briefs, and analytical assessments. The analyst will produce actionable information in a clear and concise manner and apply analytical rigor to all work and remain open to non-traditional information or conclusions. The analyst will develop subject matter expertise in the area of brand protection and frauds impacting various industries. This role will work collaboratively with other intelligence analysts, technical analysts, private industry partners and law enforcement officials.
What will you do in this role?
Act as dedicated analytical support and NCFTA liaison for a retail member and iconic brand, directly supporting their fast-paced team. Conduct data collection and research using all the tools and applications as well as proactive open-source information. Produce a finished product for dissemination. Aggregate data into appropriate organization systems and datasets. Identify credible, new intelligence and subject matter resources relative to current and emerging threats. Support relationships with NCFTA industry members, co-located law enforcement, and subject matter experts via briefings, email, conference calls, private listservs, and quarterly and/or annual conferences. Engage in collaboration with members and peers in order to strategically seek correlative data across all programs. Actively participate in program and member meetings. Provide support for training events, to include focus group meetings, conferences, presentations.
You will need to have: Previous experience providing actionable intelligence and concise documentation of analytical findings. Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, attention to detail, critical thinking, logic, and to learn rapidly. Capability to review and evaluate large volumes data in support of strategic, operational or tactical operations to reduce, mitigate and contain threats. Strong time management skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office. Proficient in briefing and presenting to audiences of all sizes. Proficient in writing intelligence reports (i.e., active voice, bottom line up front (BLUF), expository, etc.).
