Job Description Job Description The Marketing Intern will be a key member on the Marketing team assisting with the execution of marketing activities and programs. The position will support a variety of marketing initiatives for individual Directors (firm’s partners) and professional staff across all offices. The Marketing Intern will work with the Marketing team’s Associate Marketing Managers, Marketing Manager and Chief Growth Officer.
Essential Functions
:
Assist in the execution of the marketing strategy for the firm (service line, industry niche, etc.) including but not limited to video marketing, thought leadership, social media, website modifications, etc. Collaborate with firm professionals to create novel and impactful thought leadership. Execute digital marketing-related tactical activities to increase brand awareness; optimize SEO; track data analytics including click through rates, trends, attribution and campaign conversion Act as brand ambassador; support the Blue & Co. brand, maintaining a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, events and online presence Create and implement marketing programs and events for niche or service teams to achieve their growth goals Utilize our firm’s CRM system for lead tracking, pipeline management and to conduct ROI on all marketing activities. Create online promotional marketing and messaging including e-mail campaigns and online promotions T his position will require travel (up to 50%); Carpooling arrangements will be available, if needed.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral; excellent presentation skills Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Superb organizational skills with strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize Interest in learning new software programs and digital marketing fundamentals including SEM/SEO, Google Analytics, social media, and marketing automation Strong interpersonal skills (includes being polished, courteous, professional); sound professional judgment An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Some experie4nce with Adobe Creative Cloud -- Primarily Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects Some experience with Wordpress and/or HubSpot Marketing Automation software Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (unassisted)
Education, Certifications and/or Experience :
Working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, public relations, communications or related field Strong background in graphic design skills is a plus (please provide work samples) HubSpot or other CXM certifications is a plus
