Claims Adjuster

Job Description Job Description Prime Insurance Company is seeking driven, educated, experienced team players who possess exceptional professionalism, good time management and organizational skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of insurance company's liability concerning personal, casualty, property loss and general damages to effect settlement with claimants · Maintains up-to-date knowledge of litigation and court decisions that may impact claims · Correspond with and interview insureds, agents, medical specialists, witnesses, and claimants to compile information · Analyze police reports and medical information to report findings and recommendations · Negotiate claim settlement and recommend litigation when settlement cannot be reached · Responsible for follow-up with adjusters, managers, investigators and counsel to achieve successful resolution of claims · Responsible for accurate evaluation of claims · Responsible for maintaining effective communication with insureds to gather applicable information · Other duties as needed

Education Requirements:

· A college degree strongly desired but not required

Preferred Experience:

· E & S Experience Preferred · Property and Casualty Adjuster License (Must be obtained within six months of hire) -Experience with liability claims-handling preferred. Benefits include:
