" Position Summary: The Avocado Bikes Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of the rental store operations. This includes leading and motivating a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and achieving financial goals. The ideal candidate is a passionate and results-oriented individual with a strong background in customer service, sales, and operations. Key Responsibilities: ● Leadership & Team Management: ○ Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a high-performing team of rental staff. ○ Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. ○ Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. ○ Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. ● Customer Service: ○ Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service to all customers. ○ Assist customers in selecting the right e-bike for their needs and skill level. ○ Conduct thorough safety briefings and provide clear instructions on e-bike operation. ○ Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. ● Operations Management: ○ Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. ○ Oversee the maintenance and repair of the e-bike fleet. ○ Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the rental store. ○ Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed. ○ Implement and monitor safety protocols. ● Sales & Marketing: ○ Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase rental revenue. ○ Build relationships with local businesses and tourism partners. ○ Promote the rental store through social media, local advertising, and other channels. ● Financial Management: ○ Monitor and analyze sales data and key performance indicators. ○ Manage daily cash handling and reconcile transactions. ○ Prepare reports and track store performance. ● Safety & Compliance: ○ Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. ○ Conduct regular safety inspections of e-bikes and equipment. ○ Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff. Qualifications: ● Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership role. ● Strong customer service and sales skills. ● Experience in the outdoor recreation industry or a related field (e.g., hospitality, tourism) is preferred. ● Knowledge of e-bikes and cycling is a plus. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong organizational and time management skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1 ● Proficient in computer skills. ● Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
