Job Description Job Description Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Drive business development through proactive sales strategies and relationship building. Meet or exceed the assigned annual gross margin budget by promoting and selling products to more complex accounts in assigned territory in compliance with the company's pricing policies. Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and report potential claims Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions by analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities. Provide leadership and mentorship to new sales representatives fostering a collaborative team environment. o Manage accounts effectively by providing ongoing support and maintaining client relationships. o Demonstrate and coach the Sales Representative I staff on how to provide product knowledge to current and potential clients . Coach the Sales Representative I on how to create a customer needs analysis, . Ability to travel 50% an Outside Sales Rep III . Additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Five or more years of high-volume sales experience in the food industry Experience in business development and account management Strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills Excellent communication skills, both 'verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively, Proven experience in outside sales, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
