Job Description Job Description ComResource is looking for an Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Developer/SME. We are seeking an experienced OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) Developer/SME to support, enhance, and maintain critical financial applications. These applications are essential for calculating profitability and generating data for financial reporting, risk analysis, and downstream systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise with OFSAA, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles. Responsibilities:
Configure, develop, patch/upgrade, and customize OFSAA modules, including OFSAAI, OFSFTP, and OFSPM. Perform data mapping for staging and reporting, including EDW-to-OFSAA integration and T2T development. Maintain and enhance applications leveraging IBM DB2 Data Warehouse, Datastage ETL, and Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling. Collaborate with finance teams to evaluate monthly business requirements and implement process improvements and data enhancements. Ensure adherence to IT SDLC processes, creating and maintaining documentation. Troubleshoot and monitor system performance, including patching, performance tuning, and monitoring. Translate detailed business requirements into detailed design specifications, solutions, and architectures.
Essentials:
3–5 years of experience supporting OFSAA 8.0.6 and 8.1. Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting and PL/SQL programming. Experience with ETL tools, SQL Developer, and Toad. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience with data warehouses and application development/implementation.
Desired:
5+ years of experience in financial services or banking. Knowledge of Erwin Data Modeling and experience merging models from different OFSAA instances. Hands-on experience with Services Data Foundation (FSDF), Data Governance Studio (DGS), or Data Integration Hub (DIH). Strong understanding of banking terminology, financial statements, and finance-related topics. Experience with Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling. Strong skills in XML, Oracle design/development, debugging, and documentation. Proven ability to work independently while contributing in a collaborative environment. Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills.
