The Academy Charter School is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
On-Board new hires and process new hire paperwork (including I-9's, E-Verify, background checks and fingerprints). Meets with new employees to review paperwork and answer questions as well assists in the orientation of new hires. Manages and maintain licensing and certification information for applicable employees. Responds to Unemployment claims in a timely manner. Submits Workers Compensation Claims as needed. Assists in completing quarterly Internal audits. Manage all employee termination processes including exit interviews and off-boarding. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Maintain personnel files and related records for the purpose of ensuring compliance with employment, legal and mandated requirements. Works closely with staffing agencies to ensure adequate coverage of staff. Provides reports and information to other departments and outside agencies as needed.
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience Strong interest in process improvement with an eye toward making ongoing operations more efficient and streamlined Excellent relationship building skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with people with a wide diversity of demographic and professional experience levels. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail Bachelor’s Degree is preferred HR Certification preferred
