This position provides athletic training services in a clinical setting under the care of a supervising physician. Our clinic is a multi-disciplinary outpatient rehabilitation center consisting of 4 locations that provide active rehabilitation treatment to patients of all ages. Qualifications:
Athletic Trainer licensure, certification and registration from the State of Ohio (This is different than a personal trainer; must be a licensed Athletic Trainer) Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, healthcare provider and clinic staff. Desire to be a team player in caring for patients within the clinic setting. Responsibilities include: 1. The Athletic Trainer will work within their scope of practice as outlined by the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Athletic Trainer's Board of the State of Ohio within an outpatient rehabilitative clinic. 2. Primary responsibilities include administering individualized therapeutic intervention, monitoring patient's progress and responses to therapy, report progress and medical changes to supervising physician, document patient's treatment per professional and regulatory standards.
