Job Description Job Description A successful Financial Advisor at our firm is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, is experienced in financial planning, portfolio management and insurance, is looking to join a team of like-minded, independent advisors, has a minimum of 3 years of experience and who has demonstrated success with client roles. The candidate must have a passion for financial planning and protection and provide a top-notch client experience. Responsibilities: · Develop a book of business by effectively sourcing prospective clients, capitalizing on referrals, assessing client needs while respecting their risk profiles, recommending clients for appropriate financial plans via customized solutions based upon individual requirements. · Recommend suitable investment and protection products based upon their goals, time horizon, risk tolerance, resources and needs. · Balance client needs, prospect building, compliance, and personal growth. · Utilize resources of experts to identify planning and investment strategies. · Complete required training, performance goals and continuing education requirements. · Acquire clients through individual marketing techniques. Required Skills · Proven ability to engage and influence a full range of individuals. · Extraordinary interpersonal and relationship building skills. · Effective communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients. · Demonstrated ability to assess the needs of clients and recommend suitable solutions. Qualifications · A 4 year Bachelor’s Degree. · Knowledge of the Financial Advisor role. · Proven track record of success. · 3+ years of financial advising experience. · Life/Health Insurance licensed. · Series 65 or 66 license is required. · A book of business is a plus.
