Job Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor at Basecamp Recovery Center is responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical services across all programs. Reporting directly to the Clinical Director, this position ensures compliance with regulatory standards, provides supervision to clinical staff, and fosters a positive, patient-centered environment. The Clinical Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining Basecamps commitment to providing compassionate and effective treatment while supporting the organizations mission and vision.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision and Development:
Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and support to clinical staff, including therapists and counselors. Conduct individual and group supervision sessions to enhance clinical performance and address concerns. Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Human Resources to develop and deliver training for new clinical team members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care. Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to clinical staff.
Program Oversight:
Monitor and support the delivery of clinical services to ensure alignment with evidence-based practices and Basecamps mission. Review and approve patient admission assessments and treatment plans. Conduct regular audits of patient records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Ohio regulatory standards and accrediting bodies. Collaborate with the Clinical Director to plan and implement new programs to meet patient and community needs.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure that clinical staff adhere to Basecamp Recovery Center policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives, including utilization review and risk management processes. Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical policies, ensuring compliance with Ohio state licensing and funding requirements.
Clinical and Administrative Support:
Provide clinical coverage for individual and group sessions as needed during staff absences or emergencies. Act as a liaison between the clinical team and the Clinical Director, promoting effective communication and collaboration. Assist with scheduling and clinical caseload management to ensure patient needs are met efficiently. Maintain small workload of clinical individual and/or group therapy services equaling approximately 8 hours weekly (20%)
Collaboration and Leadership:
Attend and actively participate in daily clinical staff meetings to review patient progress and address operational needs. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects Basecamps values of integrity, excellence, and compassion. Support the Clinical Director in achieving departmental and organizational goals.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Must hold current certification or credentials in one of the following: Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC-III) Other, as indicated by Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) standards Graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required)
Experience Requirements: Two (2) years of related experience preferred, with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience (required).
