Duties and Responsibilities This is an academic position on the clinical track that emphasizes patient care to endocrine patients with a focus on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer; instructs medical students, residents, and fellows; and basic or clinical research. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspirations, e-consults, and inpatient consults. As a Clinical Diagnostic Specialist, you will work with the Clinic Executive Director and have access to a Clinical Psychologist in your region/state for questions. You will be responsible for writing the evaluation report, providing feedback to parents, and conducting pre-assessments with parents before a doctor reviews the client's results. This role will mainly be responsible for neuropsychological and autism diagnostic assessments. This is NOT a counseling/psychotherapy/ABA role.
