Sourcing Project Engineer
Job Description
About the Role:
As a Sourcing Project Engineer in our Consumer Support Services industry, you will be responsible for managing and executing sourcing projects to support our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management English/Chinese fluency required Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field Experience in the Consumer Support Services industry Certification in supply chain management (e.g. CPSM, CSCP) Experience with e-sourcing tools and platforms Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies that meet business requirements Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and service levels Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills:
In this role, you will utilize your strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive sourcing projects to completion. Your ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions will be critical to your success. Additionally, your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems will enable you to effectively manage project timelines and deliverables. Finally, your knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies will allow you to identify and implement process improvements to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
