What you'll be doing… This is a strategic business operations role within the New York Metro WNO Staff Team. You will play a key part in supporting the Vice President of NYM, Senior Directors, and key stakeholders, while collaborating across various departments to drive efficiency, reduce costs, grow revenue, and improve our culture and customer service. The role includes financial management, data analysis, and executive-level communication. The Operations Support Manager will identify, prioritize, structure, and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that key operational, financial, and customer service metrics are met. You’ll be a key resource ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget. You’ll partner with other areas of the business including EHS, Labor Relations, Business Ops Support and the Customer & Operations Support Center to ensure that all resources are ready when needed. We’re looking for your project skills and financial management expertise to deliver the best outcomes for the business and in turn, to our customers. Reporting progress and outcomes in various functions and levels. Craft and manage executive slide development and deliver high-quality executive communications that help accurately tell a story to senior level leaders. Perform deep-dive analysis of customer service metrics to identify and implement strategic improvements across the region. Drive opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies. Partner with internal and external teams to ensure successful completion of projects, adhering to timelines and budget requirements. Drive ongoing employee engagement activities and recognition programs to enhance team performance. Work closely with all stakeholders to define, execute and manage the operations of the area under responsibility. Lead several projects and track key outcomes. Define and ensure quality standards and project policies are met. Provide updates to senior leadership on project status, key metrics, issues, and risks. You like working with diverse people from all backgrounds and functions, at all levels, and have a knack for developing strong working relationships. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or five or more years of relevant work experience in business operations, project management, or a related field. Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and GSuite, with advanced proficiency in data analysis and creating executive-level presentations. Strong analytical skills and experience in driving data-driven decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Knowledge of Wireline Field Operations systems and procedures. Experience in Installation & Maintenance (Specials, Copper and Fios), Construction and the Central Office. Proven leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams. Interpreted collective bargaining agreements and/or managed in a unionized environment. Formulated and implemented strategies within defined time frames. Experience minimizing expenses and working within department financial objectives. Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $89,000.00 and $165,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
