Scheduling Coordinator / STNA
Job Description
Westerwood is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to add to our exceptional team and community. This position is full-time and is regularly scheduled during business hours, Monday-Friday.
This position is responsible for generating, managing, and updating the nursing department’s schedule according to the staffing ladder, census fluctuations, call-offs and pre-planned absences, as well as managing time-off requests, filling staffing vacancies and maintaining attendance records. In addition, this position will also manage and coordinate a variety of medical appointments, and assist residents in the Rehabilitation Center (as-needed).
The ideal candidate should possess outstanding communication and organizational skills as well as solid interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Must be dependable, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a team, and use effective time management skills to achieve deadlines. Must have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook), and a current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification is highly preferred.
