Annual and Sick Leave – Classified Staff, Non-Classified Staff and 12-month Faculty earn up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year. Semester meetings with PhD students to track progress Semester meetings with Medical Science Students to track progress Attend national, regional and local recruitment events Answer potential student’s email Organize the Graduate Student Committee meetings (Agenda, Scheduling, Meeting Minutes) Attend COBRE Committee meetings/Retreat (Record meeting minutes) Attend Website Committee meetings Attend Medical School Graduation Committee meetings Complete Administrative section of COBRE annual report Write and Submit STEM Grant Annual report Sign and Send Credential sheets to Admissions office Participate on the Medical School Catalog Committee Track program alumni for grant prospects and website Keep updated list of student publications Inform students of policy changes Advisor for the Graduate Student Organization Create itinerary for PhD Bootcamp and all new student’s Orientation Submit plan of studies and make exceptions in Degreeworks for students in the program Create both final and tentative graduation lists for the PhD BMR, MS BMR and MS CTS programs Submit Graduate school catalog changes to Graduate Council with Dr. Egleton’s Approval Input the official schedule of courses offered each semester Submit tuition waivers for students in the PhD program every semester Create grade change forms which are signed by Dr. Egleton then sent to Registrar’s office Coordinate PhD applicant interviews Coordinate MD/PhD applicant interviews
