Title: Vocational Specialist Supervisor: Program Director Summary of Job Description: This position provides individual and group assessments, resume building, coaching and career development as it pertains to vocational rehabilitation. These services may be provided by a community-based contractor provided the qualifications of the position are met by this service provider. Specific Responsibilities: Develop and or utilize established curriculum for Vocational Education Workshops Provide group vocational education for all program members. Provide individual training/counseling/coaching for individual members. Involve families as needed regarding individual vocational and educational goals for individual members. Support members with job readiness through resume development, mock interviews, and skill building. Attend Team meetings and staff meetings as needed to support member vocational goals. Provide vocational and educational resources and support members and treatment team. Ensure all documentation is completed in EHR on the same day the service was provided. Strive for excellence and continuous quality improvement of a strength based vocational/educational program component based on metrics and outcomes. Complete all training and continuing education requirements. Attend individual supervision sessions with direct supervisor as scheduled. Maintain any vocational based certifications as required.
