Complete routine reassessment of patients' medication utilization and identify concerns or side effects patients may be experiencing. Assist patients with scheduling prescriptions, fills, or deliveries. Document all patient communication in specialty pharmacy software. At the end of in person visits, ensure that patients obtain labs while onsite, schedule follow up appointments, and have printed orders for other tests such as chest x-rays or bone scans. Learn more about this Hospital Liaison position by watching this 2 minute video: https://youtu.be/dTRvqWUH8Xs Responsibilities and Duties: Implements polices and procedures that provide best service to patients and referrals Onboards all Hospital Liaison staff Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Liaison team Builds relationships with key contacts within the Health System while supporting the partnership Responsible for scheduling hospital liaisons to ensure adequate coverage Supervisor may need to cover locations for coverage Ensure Liaisons maintain appropriate Inventory PAR Levels and monitor and measure any possible lost equipment Maintain knowledge of the industry and be proficient in discussions related to equipment and services Work with Health System Manager to ensure standard operating procedures are streamlined Conduct monthly staff meetings and 1:1 Work in conjunction with Health Care System Manager on Annual Performance reviews. Responds to questions posed by Case Managers and referral sources within the facility related to home-going equipment/supply needs, acting as a liaison between MSC and the facility staff Chooses actions that will give the best possible outcomes for MSC and the Health System Markets our services to the Case Managers and other potential referral sources within the designated facility Maintains open communications with all referral sources and documents with whom and with what frequency Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence. Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements: Preferred one year (minimum) of Supervisor/Team Lead experience One year (minimum) of progressively responsible medical customer service experience. Knowledge and understanding of intake implications of industry change. Excellent skill sets in communication and customer relations. Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a TEAM player). Must be able to perform extensive driving as required for the position Must possess a valid driver's license Salary no less than $51,000/yearly Mileage reimbursement for travel
