Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] - March, CA (CONUS) - Digital Training Facility Management (DTFM) (DTFM042) Full-time ProSidian is a Management and Operations Consulting Services Firm focusing on providing value to clients through tailored solutions based on industry-leading practices. ProSidian Seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] - March, CA (CONUS) - Digital Training Facility Management (DTFM) (DTFM042) to support an engagement for a training directorate of the USG that supports training and readiness of active and reserve military personnel. This DoD/Military Sector Role is a W-2 Employee Labor Category Position located at or near March, CA - CONUS | AC/RC: RC | ACOM: USARC. As a training asset, Digital Training Facilities (DTFs) are ideal for Section, squad, or platoon size elements. They can maximize training dollars and reduce TDY costs while providing: Various ways to support your unit requirements through onsite instruction, online courses and VTT (at selected sites) A classroom environment with Internet access for Resident Instructors Access to annual mandatory training, such as Information Assurance, Anti-Terrorism, Suicide Prevention, Composite Risk Management Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Training Access to Army Learning Management System (ALMS) Access to Army e-Learning and Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP) courses Real-time, interactive instruction via VTT (at selected sites) Pre- and Post-Mobilization Training (PPMT) Access to subject matter experts around the world Gaming for training, such as Virtual Battle Space 3 (available only at select DTFs) The Digital Training Facility Manager [DTFM] regularly interfaces with various stakeholder personnel to ensure the Digital Training Facility (DTF) at the assigned installation offers a consistent high level of systems access and instruction tools. Responsibilities include:
Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training. Coordinating facility maintenance and interacting with EMS Technicians. Adherence to EMS direction to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers. Maintenance of facility security and operating equipment. Monitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of IT hardware and furniture. Partners with other entities to create secure lab environments. Provides appropriate metrics and reports to designated Management and Stakeholder Staff. Provides server and application support and maintenance. Reporting the operational status of the DTF(s) to the appropriate chain of command. Scheduling training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
Experience:
5 years of management experience within the realm of IT support and/or management (Required). Ability to analyze and evaluate trainees to summarize, forecast, and identify requirements. Ability to communicate orally and in writing to coordinate and schedule training sessions.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science, information systems, information technology, or related). U.S. Citizenship Required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. Must be eligible for Facility Access Authorization. Must qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements.
