Actively contribute to Site Leadership Team and counsel Site Director on Financial implications of decisions. Teach Financial & Accounting concepts to Non-Finance clients and Finance partners. Assist Site Director & Site Leadership Team to develop & implement their Strategic Priorities. Align with Portfolio Management Organization and FP&A to implement company-wide Strategic Priorities at the site. Ensure Site Director & Site Leadership Team have reporting necessary to understand performance against Financial & Non-Financial Targets. Develop new reporting when information gaps arise. Align with FP&A and Corporate Functions on Budget/IBP forecasting. Perform analysis and make recommendations to meet/improve performance against Financial & Non-Financial Targets. Develop models to aid in the decision-making process. Partner with the Plant Controllers organization, Corporate Accounting, and internal clients to establish and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with GAAP. Lead Internal Compliance Testing at the Site and assist with External Audit requests. Ensure corrective actions are completed on a timely basis. Partner with Site Cost Center managers to complete cost center budgets. Lead monthly reviews with cost center managers & leadership team. Align with FP&A on Budget/IBP forecasting. Perform Financial Analysis for Site Capital Projects. Partner with Site Engineering Manager on Budget/IBP forecasts of Capital spending/project closure. Ensure Assets are capitalized on a timely basis. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting. Prioritize weaknesses to improve when discovered. Partner with Hilmar and Dalhart Accountants to deliver expectations of the site.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field plus 5 years’ related experience OR Master’s degree in business related field plus 2 years’ related experience. Experience working with Microsoft Office Software with strong excel skills. Solid Knowledge Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Previous experience working in a manufacturing company. Ability to identify deficiencies in control or noncompliance with accounting policies or procedures.
What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field plus 7 years’ related experience as a professional accountant at the level of accountant or any comparable position OR Master’s degree and 3 year experience.
