Job Title: Principal Job Description: Blackstone is seeking an experienced insurance client coverage professional to work closely with our investment and asset allocation teams to manage and strengthen relationships with key insurance clients. Core relationship management responsibilities will include: Managing Blackstone’s cross-firm effort to serve key insurance clients Applying deep insurance asset management expertise to help insurance clients meet their key investment objectives within pre-defined capital, risk, ALM and yield constraints Driving content creation and delivery of periodic portfolio insights in partnership with investment professionals and management team(s) at insurance clients Anticipating and owning coordination of responses around bespoke insurance client investment inquiries Establishing strong working relationships across investment, legal, operations and finance teams firmwide to deliver the best of Blackstone to insurance clients
Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have: 10+ years of experience working with insurance clients and developing relationships Strong capital markets knowledge, product knowledge within the insurance market including a comprehensive understanding of insurance capital and regulatory requirements Ability to effectively communicate and differentiate the BXCI value proposition and the role it can play in portfolio construction Strong project management skills Excellent judgement and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders An entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to continuously learn and grow
Expected annual base salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
