Job Description
The Data Entry Specialist (DES) provides effective customer service by establishing a working relationship with internal and external customers to ensure they can rely on Pressure Connections Corp. (PCC) as an awesome partner. The successful DES will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge. As a subject matter expert, they will offer quick and accurate service to customers. The DES will act as a liaison, providing product/service information for the entire enterprise and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with attentiveness, accuracy, and efficiency. Customers rely on us for our rigorous quality standards. As a result, the DES complies with ISO 9001:2015 and all active industry standards in our Quality Management System. Moreover, because this position is a key role in our company, we expect that the right person for the job will align highly with Company values. Further, such a person must have a high degree of the character virtues required by this position. Communication and problem-solving for customers, vendors, and co-workers require integrity, professionalism, and follow-through. Core Responsibilities Contact customers through a phone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services. Answer incoming customer calls regarding price and availability inquiries, billing issues, product problems, service questions, and general client concerns. Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller. Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns. Update customer information in the customer database during and after each call. Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge. Enter orders with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in the warehouse if business needs require it. Perform other related duties as assigned. The physical demands of the role are typical of an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard. Sometimes, work in the warehouse may require lifting, walking, bending, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting is required. This is an on-site position. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Standard days and scheduled shift hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Alternative hours are occasionally required to accommodate various customers and potential customer needs. Required Education and Experience Well organized with focused attention to detail. Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education and Experience Experience with root cause analysis to develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Action. ASQ Certified. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
