Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Darigold is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to be a part of Darigold’s Sunnyside team. The Maintenance Mechanic must possess the desire and ability to maintain and repair all plant equipment. The role is to maintain and repair plant machinery and assist with special projects, which include fabrication and sanitary welding. Pay: $32 to $36/hr What You Will Do Proven sanitary welding experience Proven stainless steel fabrication and welding skills Experience maintaining and repairing rotating machinery Experience in troubleshooting and repair of production equipment Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical motors and controls Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers Experience in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to interpret P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings Understanding and experience of preventive maintenance Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and maintain equipment and records Understanding and working knowledge of CMMS systems and work orders Ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills Strong team player Must be available to work any shift including nights and weekends What You Bring 3-5 years manufacturing maintenance or related experience Formal education in a related field preferred Benefits of Working at Darigold We understand that as an employee, benefits that support you and your family in and out of work are important.
