Pay: $21.75/hour - $24.00/hour, full-time, non-exempt Schedule: 7 pm – 5:30 am Position Summary: The Oven Operator runs the ovens used for the curing process of composite manufacturing, according to Standard Work Instructions. Responsibilities Include:
Verify part and documents, interpret the job traveler to determine recipe to complete cure process before loading parts onto the racks, trays, or carts. Meet schedules, time allowances and monitor oven cures frequently to ensure no discrepancies in software program; updating supervisor. Decipher parts and quantity requiring additional probes, wires, fixtures, or thermocouple placement before oven cure process. Remove probes, wires, fixtures, breakout, and clean all parts prior to distributing to the next process.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced math skills. Ability to comprehend written instructions. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Working Conditions:
While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
