Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
Job Description
Overview Reporting to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, this position is primarily responsible for supporting analysis and projects to increase the profitability and operations of the Company. We are looking for a candidate that is adaptive, action-oriented, can work independently, and takes ownership of processes and tasks. This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance. Responsibilities This role within Finance will be broad and is expected to change with the business’s needs. Some of the areas the Sr. Analyst can expect to lead are: Own Company long term, three-statement, driver-based Excel model as well as presentations / visuals to show progress, updates, drivers, and status. Track, report, enhance, and create business KPIs via monthly reporting package, quarterly Board materials, and other ad hoc presentations. Lead due diligence processes with potential equity and debt providers, own and update company Management Presentation. Optimize Capital Expenditures by owning and establishing ROI details for each investment. Provide support and guidance for financial analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, budget attainment, and business planning companywide. Continuously review current processes and identify opportunities for improvements or enhancements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. 3-5 years prior finance experience. CPA or MBA a plus. Prior travel industry experience a plus. TM1 (Cognos), Hyperion, NetSuite, Salesforce experience a plus. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills, work ethic, problem-solving ability, and overall positive attitude. Willing and able to learn and apply knowledge quickly. Comfortable working independently and being action-oriented. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong presentation skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while under pressure. Strong business acumen. Must be able to work successfully in a matrix team environment, working well with all levels of management and staff within the organization. Ability to interact with senior division leadership and corporate executives. Must operate with a sense of urgency, driving for results and opportunities to maximize profitability and enhance return on invested capital. Comfortable self-navigating and completing projects with unstructured parameters and guidance.
