POSITION SUMMARY: Industrial Cleaning Crew Leaders understand how to set up, perform, operate, maintain, and able to perform minor repairs of hydro blasting equipment as well as understanding EnviroVac and site-specific safety rules and regulations required. The Crew Leader will organize projects and manage an individual crew of employees which includes Technicians and Operators. The Crew Leader will understand and fulfill the duties and job descriptions of Technicians and Operators. The Crew Leader will have the competency to complete project paperwork to support billing, payroll and required safety data. Crew Leaders will have the ability to manage and utilize relationships with customers. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides direct supervision, coordination, and continuity to the assigned crew, and necessary communication from dispatch through the supervisor or account manager. Performs Hazard Recognition Awareness to remove all hazards from the workplace. Supervises the assigned personnel, equipment, material and subcontractors for the assigned work. Ensures work performance is planned and coordinated according to work plan schedule, quality, budget and safety objectives including but not limited to, layout and hookup requirements and assigned crew work lists for setup, processing, rig-down and decontamination. Maintains the project work-site in a safe and environmentally sound condition per DOT, EPA and OSHA requirements. Supervises assigned EnviroVac personnel and subcontractors and communicates with supervisor regarding employee performance management. Requirements: •Previous Crew Lead or other supervisory experience. •Previous Landscape and Hardscape experience (planting, paver patios, retaining walls, etc.). •Ability to read and interpret blueprints and landscape drawings. •Clean Background. Hardscape Crew Foreman needed to manage landscape installation crews. Will work directly with landscape designers and project managers to build landscapes for commercial and residential clients. Job responsibilities include: •Managing and leading a crew of 2-3 landscape installers to provide clean, accurate, and timely installation of landscape/hardscape construction projects. •Ensuring that all material for a project is prepped and loaded before heading to job sites. •Coordinating with designer/project manager regarding timelines, deadlines, and project specifics. •Tracking job hours and materials through appropriate paperwork. •Comply with all company policies and regulations. •Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop areas. •Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with government and company standards. General Working Conditions: •Ability to work with hand/power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials. •Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift. •Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis. •Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold. •Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work. Experience and/or education is a positive for this position. Salary will be based on level of expertise in the landscape field and ability to perform all aspects of job that are required.
