WholesomeCo is leading the movement to normalize cannabis as a natural path to health and wellness. Various medical cannabis services are offered, including statewide delivery to 99% of Utah's population, as well as retail, drive-thru, online pick-up services through its pharmacy in West Bountiful, an in-house built app for patients, innovative technology resources, cannabis cultivation, and cannabis processing of our constantly growing line of WholesomeCo branded products. We are in search of a Community Engagement Associate to help spread the word on medical cannabis around our great state, and assist with events in and around the valley.
Reports To: Community Engagement Manager Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Associate to support our efforts in executing in-house events, assisting with outreach initiatives, and maintaining visibility with key community stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our community-driven efforts while ensuring seamless execution of events and operational support. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Support: Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of in-house events to ensure smooth operations. Greet and check in attendees, creating a welcoming environment and enhancing the guest experience. Collaborate with the Community Engagement Manager to address real-time needs and adjustments during events. Outreach Operations: Conduct scheduled deliveries of materials and resources to community partners. Represent the organization as a brand ambassador during community engagements and field visits, promoting our mission and values. Maintain and organize an inventory of materials for outreach and events. Track and report field interactions, identifying trends and opportunities for improving future outreach efforts. Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Community Engagement Manager, including partner communication and follow-up. Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance community engagement strategies. Assist with data collection, reporting, and other operational tasks as needed. Qualifications: 1-2 years in community outreach, event management, or related fields. Technical proficiency with Google Suite or a CRM software. A passion for community engagement and wellness initiatives. Enthusiasm for working with diverse communities and building lasting relationships. Creativity and openness to innovative approaches to community engagement. Time management & adaptability
