Corporate Quality Assurance Intern

As a Quality Assurance/Food Safety intern, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the business through hands on activities, coaching, and projects as part of the Corporate QA Team in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Create new product samples for customer reviews. Assist with product specification and nutrition development. Assist with environmental monitoring investigations - micro testing. Assist with heat penetration and temperature distribution studies. Analyze heat penetration and temperature distribution data for food safety analysis. Assist with new production line start-up. Gain hands on experience in the formulation development for new products. Other project work as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Student in 4-year degree program with emphasis in food science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or other related field Strong interest in science Strong communication skills Strong analytical skills High capacity for attention to detail Critical thinking skills Proficient in M.S. Office Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Reliable transportation
