Responsibilities:
Room patients and handle documentation accurately and promptly. Coordinate patient care according to physician directives and company policies. Prepare, restock, and sanitize examination rooms and other patient care areas. Greet patients and visitors warmly, and manage scheduling, phone inquiries, and payments. Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Certified Medical Assistant is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills At least one year of experience in a medical office; pediatric experience is a plus. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); experience with AthenaOne is a bonus. Multilingual skills, especially Spanish, are highly valued.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or stoop for extended periods. Some mild physical labor and occasional heavy lifting (e.g., infants, toddlers). Exposure to various medical elements, including blood and chemicals. Compensation Offered (negotiable, dependent upon experience): Hourly - Hourly Plan, 18.00 USD Hourly Benefits Offered (you must work a minimum of 30 hours per week to be eligible):
