Job Description Job Description Job description Kituwah Global Government and it's subsidary Kituwah Technologies, LLC is an established and growing Federal Contractor, and needs Commercial Voice & Data Technician III's to join our team. Technicians are responsible for, but not limited to, pulling, terminating, and testing several types of twisted pair, coaxial and fiber optical cabling in addition to the installation of several types of pathway support structures and voice and data systems. We are looking for reliable technicians who are attentive to detail and self-motivated. Career-minded individuals who are willing to do what it takes to get the job done and who are eager and willing to learn and grow in the voice and data trade. Responsibilities Capable of identifying, pulling, labeling, terminating, and testing CAT3,5,5e,6,6A,7 Cable and Fiber Optic Cable. Able to read schematics and generate As-Built documents. Coordinate with the Project Manager and keep open lines of communication on project progress via daily logs, e-mails, phone calls, etc. Work independently without direct supervision. Demonstrated ability to use several types of man lifts and hand/power tools safely. Ability to work from ladders, and scaffolds, at heights above 25 feet. Install complete systems including Burglar Alarm, Voice, Sound, Access Control, CCTV & Data/Fiber Systems. Maintain a professional appearance while representing Kituwah Technologies, LLC Qualifications · Minimum of 5 years of technician installation experience. · Able to pass a drug and background check. · Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record for the last 3 years required. · Fusion splicing experience preferred. · BICSI certified technicians preferred. · Site surveys and bidding experience preferred. Other Information · Location: various locations in Western North Carolina and across the country.
